Cybersecurity being one of the most lucratively paying careers projected to reach over 500 billion in growth by 2030, only 3% of the workforce is African American . On the contrary there is a shortage of cyber professionals. IALAS is uniquely positioned to solve this problem by providing to Cybersecurity training to an untapped workforce: predominantly black low-income parents in Ward 7 in partnership with Faunteroy Community Center.
A 16- week paid work-based learning initiative that provides cybersecurity training, industry recognized certifications, on the job training and specialized wrap around support for low-income parents in Ward 7.
